Hi, I take it you mean the one supporting the backlight? As the parts book likes to call it anyway: any ones from a 'scrapper' are likely to as bad, so I had one carefully made up for mine by a professional welder. It was a relief when the screen went back in OK! Best of luck if you're having to refurbish this part, it was too specialised for me to tackle.

Yes, it looks fairly decent & offer of a check underneath means they should be confident it is sound and not too much welding. No trace of it in club records, so sort of confirms it's 'barn-find' status. Old Hampshire car & certainly worth saving.....and I would if I could! |
