Not sure if you guys have been following the dark green one on eb*y, but what a total farce.
- Advertised originally at a totally crazy price which the guy said ignore. No photos until much later in the sale revealing a rot box basically;
- A tonne of welding needed for the MOT which he didn't even bother to mention to start with.
- Holbay spares supposedly included which he says he won't split from the car, then does.
- Oh and the small matter of another car appearing in the same advert - some other Mitsubishi thing which he pulled out of storage.

Now he is in the middle of welding the car to try and get some interest in it!

I have photos of that Estate taken at the Rootes 2000 meet - what a shame it has been allowed to deteriorate in the hands of this guy. If it is one of you lot, I'll happily get my coat, but you need to explain yourself!

Its back on, after some high class welding bodgery, and back at the full asking price again. Brilliant!

Well, at least he took it off the market for the moment while he sorts out the welding properly. Pity he didn't think to do that in the first place, but fair play

Barn find often equals pile of rusty crap with seized engine.

I've never understood why barn find is a selling point.

Coupes are cool

More 'barn finds' than barns on ebay these days!

Building the 'Mark II' fastback Rapier ('Arrocuda').

There is also an "Humber Hawk Barn Find" - amusingly most of the pictures show the car upside down

No sir, your Rootes motor is in a much safer pair of hands, thank goodness.

Not guilty!
