Posted - 16 Nov 2011 : 20:09:01 It has the correct steering wheel for '75. But the rev counter does not have the green band between 3 and 4 like the '74 cars I've seen. It should have a steering lock, the ignition switch should not be on the instrument panel. They had changed over to the lock on the steering column by 1972.
But it does appear to have the later 8 fuse unit and I think I can see the chassis number is stamped on the top of the right side suspension turret - that is correct for a 1975 car. Also the dip switch is column mounted, early cars have foot dips.
Looks like a 1975 car with the instrument panel from a much earlier car.
Looks solid - probably worth a look.

Posted - 15 Nov 2011 : 17:49:24 I'm surprised reading that it is a 1975 as it doesn't have a steering lock, but the ignition on the dashboard as the early cars...
'68 sunbeam rapier fastback {B341006846 OD/LHO} I like a car that looks normal but really knocks your socks off!!
