Posted - 28 Aug 2011 : 23:42:23 Hi,
i've joined the forum to let you know that my dad has a Sunbeam Alpine for sale. He's a car dealer, not dodgy, he's retired and it just earns him some extra cash. I went for a ride in it the other day and it's pretty good! See for youself.

Posted - 29 Sep 2011 : 08:54:23 Just to let everyone know, this has been relisted as an auction. Had a few offers but not enough. ALOT of watchers though! Can't believe it didn't go last time. It has a fair reserve price i think. Gav

Posted - 30 Aug 2011 : 18:20:24 I agree it looks at face value to be a good example of an Alpine. Current prices of Fastbacks appears to be 25% lower than a year or so ago. People are being much more careful with their cash I think if this one was in an ebay auction instead of classified then the price would probably reach maybe £1750,its tax exempt that always helps. Good luck to the seller i think at £1950 it's priced sensibly if open to near offers.

Posted - 29 Aug 2011 : 22:46:45 Yes, look very original. Still not giving you overriders or sill covers, even in '72. High-back seats had gone though. Not sure why they went for blue interior (which, like dash, looks very good condition), I think white cars need black interiors. 1 owner & low miles in its favour, but you may find it is priced a little high, but hope you get a sale to an enthusiast. These cars deserve to fetch more: we live in hope . Best of luck and thanks for alerting us on here. Cheers. G. |
