Looks in reasonable condition. Not sure about those black stripey bits though. The under-bonnet area look really clean but upon further inspection its been re-spayed as the fuse box is white along with the strut-top securing bolts.
The door does not look a particularly difficult repair and white is pretty easy to match.
Anyone know this car ?

The gearboxes are directly interchangeable either way with no mechanical modifications

Looks quite good for the money :)

Yeah, I don't like the black paint (esp the bonnet). Think it's basically sound, but seller mentioned to me that it occasionally jumps out of third gear on the overrun (which is why there is also the option of the overdrive gearbox with it)

I don't know the mechanical interchangeability of these cars that well, but he says overdrive gearbox is same length as the non O/D 4 speed, so will change straight over and you don't need a different length prop. (which you would on a Vauxhall of same era). Anyone done the overdrive conversion on an Alpine?

Reserve is £2800. (O/D box extra?).

Pity the other (green H120 ) is in Western Scotland, another one that's miles away.

Me either..... pretty certain it wasn't done for it's aesthetic value, more likely it was done to cover stone chips, maybe a little rust whilst resolving the problem of getting a decent colour match. Could be a good base for a rolling resto at the right money though.

Building the 'Mark II' fastback Rapier ('Arrocuda').
