WELL BLOW ME DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Andy.........I just never twigged the connection until now. This is the very same car that I have recently bought from a guy in Bexley (literally down the road from me) She's in good nick, but I do have some jobs to do, like free off the driver's and passenger windows and a rear wheel cylinder leak. |

Posted - 13 Nov 2013 : 21:08:05 Was talking to a mate who lives in Rochester about this one. Last week he mentioned he'd noticed a blue fastback on someone's drive for years and years, in rough/scruffy condition (as he was thinking of knocking on the door and asking about it). Wasn't on the road, just parked outside, deteriorating.
About a week or so ago, it disappeared off the driveway and appeared on a low loader, according to my mate "covered in green slime from all years of being parked" Been sent a pic, it is the same car.
It's surprising (or miraculous!) that in the space of a week or so, a car that's been sat on someone's driveway 5-10 years can be fully recomissioned and be MOT'd (Would take me ages to sort it out!) |
