Looks fairly straight (but don't they all). Pushed in rear wing. Is the roof vinyl or painted black ? hard to tell. Front wing to door vertical edge looks a bit big ? To for to travel I'm afraid.

Is not the same car I'm thinking Mooresy. The one on the link is in Northern Ireland, whilst the one that Pinecone bought was in Eire.

So, are you the new owners then (as in the Irish fella sold it to you)?
I must admit, you are very brave going to Ireland to look at a car and you have kinda confirmed why its a bad idea, in the way that, going that distance you are at the mercy of the vendor. You could get your pants pulled well-and-truly down. Not for me I'm afraid, judging of the misleading appraisals I get within a 100 mile radius !

Yes, car looks familiar with those gold stripes. I'd say that was a vinyl roof as you can see the capping on the A post & I think a join in the 3/4 rear view.
Can never understand why people show only one side of a car: always makes me suspicious. Trying for similar money to the other one on Car & Classic.

You would think he'd mention the damaged rear wing though, even if he gave it the usual 'easy repair' excuse. To sort it out will be fairly expensive as getting a colour match on a 45 year old car is tough and would most likely necessitate a full respray to make it perfect.
