Hi all,

Looking for some advice on how to remove the badge inserts on bonnet & wheel centre badges (H120).

I have some new inserts to replace the old faded ones but from what i can see it looks like the only way to get the old ones out is by destroying them?

Cheers.

Mine are well and truly stuck, but I've been given a tip at work. Heat them gently in the oven to release the glue, or heat them not so gently to melt the plastic inserts.

The bonnet badge insert is glued in - but they don't usually put up much of a struggle. Mine came out in one piece using a screwdriver. The previous owner of my '68 had his bonnet badge stolen on a car ferry - so his must have been easy to remove too!

Don't know about the wheel inserts - never had any.
