Can someone tell me which is the correct thermostat and water temp sender for a 1974 GLS engine?
A QH or similar part number for the sensor would be useful also!

QTH100 Thermostat 82c
QTH104 Thermostat 82c (with shut off valve)
QTH102 Thermostat 88c

I believe all will work. I tend to try and fit the ones with the little by-pass valve. More a case of if you want engine to run a little hotter or cooler. I think on the sender it is the one with the red band that is correct for the 1725 engine, but all this from memory that's not as good as it was!
