Posted - 10 Oct 2012 : 16:03:16 The alpine exhaust and inlet manifolds aren't interchangeable without modification.. So i guess the manifolds on the engine in your should be of a fastback...
Alpine chassis numbers were B395nnnnn for the series V. http://www.sunbeamalpine.org/index.php?categoryid=16

Posted - 08 Oct 2012 : 19:34:46 Hi Mike,
If I'm not mistaken this should be an alpine series 5 engine.. But with other carbs then as the alpine's are tilted upwards because the angle of the engine is different.. This should also have a different camshaft..
Regards Thomas
