I run 195x50x15 tyres. The rims are 7x15 with, I think, a 35mm offset.

On full lock the front tyres will just contact the anti-roll bar.

If the suspension is lowered you might get contact between the tyre and strut tower - but again this is only on full lock so should not trouble you.

I have 185/70/13 tyres on my rostyles, a change my Dad made many years ago that greatly improved handling.

Im not completely sure but using some of the rolling radius calculators it looks like 15in diameter wheels with 195/50x15 tyres will keep the overall diameter similar if originals were 155x13 on original 13in wheels.

Hi Andy,
Car looked v.good at Moffat. Sorry I missed you, but we did have a chat back in 2009 . Do you know I thought the Rapier PCD was 100 and not 108, if it is the latter, I'll have to give my Audi Ronals a go, but the offset might be too great. Agreed the Ford wheels of the period do fit and the equivalent Rostyles have a deeper rim and look better than the Rootes ones, even though they are still 5.5J.
Lots of choice I would think to make it look a bit different and handle better.
Cheers for now.

hi, thanks for the info regarding the fastback wheel offset,i have h120 rostyles on the car at the moment and it does look good and original but also slightly wider wheels would look good and improve handling, food for thought i reckon, cheers,Andy.

PCD 4x108 Offset 35 to 45 most ford 4 stud rims will go on ok and improve handling, the standard rims even H120 are to small.
