Posted - 16 May 2012 : 08:31:57 my fastback has a ducellier distribtor, i have several spare lucas ones but they dont seem to fit in the drive snugly the slotted part fits ok but the lucas ones have a raised dome at the bottom
anybody know if they are a direct swop as i ultimately would like to fit a h120 version without vacuum advance as i have fitted twin webers
can anybody help ?

the lucas seems to be just a little tight fitting into the drive the arrowed part is not as deep on the ducellier
i will have to be a little more forceful !

Posted - 16 May 2012 : 19:46:14 I think it's a straight swap with the ducellier.. Our Sceptre MKIII had a very annoying flat spot on acceleration, after fiddling with the ignition for hours, we changed the ducellier for a lucas one and it solved everything and now still runs lovely this was 4 years ago.. Was a straight swap so should be the same with our rapiers...
