Hi, I have just got my engine up and running after a part strip down over the winter, when I turned of the engine after a short standing tick over, the heater unit on the drivers side start pouring out water. I recently changed the valve on the heater but I have checked these joints and it does not seem to be coming from there. I know there's only the two inlet/outlets on the heater matrix but has anyone experienced the heater matrix cracking inside the heater unit as the water seems to be dripping out of the inside casing.

Just wanted to see before I started the task of taking the whole unit out.

Cheers,

Dev

It does not seem to be coming from that joint or the little hose joint and would expect it to leak down the outside for these joints. But it actual coming from the inside so not sure if the heater matrix has cracked?!

When you replaced the heater valve did you put a new 'O' ring between the valve and heater body?? Is it possible that the leak is from that join??
