Hi everyone

Took my lovely car off to the club meeting today at Perigueux.. of course everyone wanted to look under the bonnet!!
QUESTION: which way up should the Lucas coil be fitted?? In my car, Clive replaced the old coil with a new Lucas, putting it in upside down as per the original... consensus of french opinions: The coil was wrongly fitted upside down (terminals at the bottom) .. and this would create problems... (something about oil?!?)

I have "Googled" the question and found no real answer..

HELP please, does someone know which way up is best...???

regards

Stella
