Posted - 31 Jan 2012 : 20:06:06 We've recently acquired a humber sceptre MKIII automatic. The owner had fitted another engine with a single carb intake manifold which didn't have a special bracket for the acceleration cable for the gearbox.. he never drove the car, so no problem for him. We are now restoring it and we didn't find the bracket.. We now managed to find a bracket, but we're not sure of how to fit it, i guess it's the same as on a rapier or rather similar, and since there are many genious people on this page I thought maybe someone could help me here? Is there some special inlet manifold for it, or is it just any dual carb intake manifold?
Many thanks!
