Can anyone identify engine numbers 8E138597QB and E138737QD please?

My Alpine won't float! I need one which does!!

This site normally helps http://www.team.net/www/rootes/chassis.html but those numbers don't seem to fit.

The "QB" and "QD" suffixs could be from and Hunter or Fastback meaning "1725 High compression, Manual transmission" and "1725 High compression, overdrive". "QBBH" suffix being common on fastbacks - meaning "1725 high compression, overdrive, servo brakes".

But no, those are bit of a mystery to me.
