I think we do not say Thank You as often as we should.. and sometimes it is left too late (sorry to sound morbid, but it happens).
I sent an e-mail of thanks to a Customer Service lady yesterday and she was overwhelmed.. I found her reply quite touching.
and it only takes a little effort, after all.

Many thanks for that Stella. We know our outing-going editor (Vernon) put a lot of effort in over the years. He only took it on, on a temporary basis and ended up doing it for 5 years!
He'll be pleased to hear your vote of thanks for his 'swansong' issue.
