Decided it was time to get a stainless exhaust for the Alpine, the MOT is due next week and the twin front downpipe is corroded badly and holed. When i bought the car last year the guy supplied me with a new(old stock)downpipe so i cleaned it up & sprayed it with high temp paint.
Took the car yesterday to Infinity Exhausts in South Glos & the guys there took just over two hours to fabricate & fit a new stainless exhaust plus the downpipe supplied by me.
Car now sounds great instead of like an old tractor

Just got to do some final checks to make sure everything is ok before i take it in for the MOT on Thursday.

That is bloody good value.

I have a very good std manifold that you are welcome to next time I see you.

Powderham is looking less likely. I'm making good progress but still lots to do.

Blenheim could be possible though. I'm on holiday for a couple of weeks in July but depending on how quickly I get things done I could well be finished for then. If you are going we could convoy!

Hi Jason
Exhaust was £250 fitted plus £30 to fit the downpipe supplied by me.
I also supplied new downpipe to manifold gasket plus 4 new brass nuts.

Any chance your H120 is gonna make Powderham or what about Blenheim Palace Oxford at the end of August especialy as Blenheim is a Rootes weekend.

Hi Ian
The colour of the Alpine is Tahiti Blue and is the original colour although the car had an extensive restoration & respray in 2001 prior to my ownership.
During the restoration a lot of the poverty spec Alpine features were changed.
Rapier dash fitted,Twin carbs and Twin downpipe fitted, bumper overiders fitted,Rapier door cards & centre console fitted.
When i bought the car the original door cards and dash (in good nick) were supplied, so the car could be put back to Alpine Spec.
I also have a set of Rostyles for it but dont have the correct steel wheels with hubcaps.
The seats fitted are "highback" seats which i believe were original fitment on the Alpines.
