Yes I like that idea, not too complicated!
Will speak to the Alpine guys as we share the stand with them to see what they are planning.

Hey buddy, ive been trying to give this one some thought since you asked a few weeks ago and all that keeps going around my head is what i saw at the NEC from the Masaratti club - The starting grid to a race.
This was pretty simple too as it only needed some black felt on the floor, with white lines on, which could be done using gaffer tape.
We could then put or stand material on the side, to look like we support the race.
Was the fastback ever raced professionally and if so what type was it used for.
Anyway thats about the best i can come up with, what do you think

I am hopeful of getting a new banner after the last one went awol, before my time as Lao I hasten to add!
Some clubs go to great lengths designing their stands but I feel they sometimes overshadow the cars themselves.

Hi Jason, I was thinking along the same lines, I’m still sorting out the details to be LAO for the NE but I don’t have anything at all, I mean other clubs have banners and things – I’m willing to pay for stuff but even so I’m beginning to think it’s going to look pretty pathetic if I’m the only one! Anyone from Humberside to Northumberland out there in Rapierland interested?
