2nd that: he was very down-to-earth & modest about his design of the Fastback, when you think it was back in '64 it was first developed & with the restrictions of an estate floor-pan he did a great job as those Fastback owners amongst us would it seems agree! Very sad news & not really old these days. I'll mention it at the committee meeting tomorrow. Glen.

That's a shame. I met him at an SROC rally years ago, nice guy, approved of my wide alloy wheels.
His autobiography is available on Amazon for pre-order, 11 quid, I just ordered one.

Very sad news. Thank you for posting this information.

Apparently there was a book coming out soon about him, I hope it still emerges.
