Guys , I stumbled upon this website when I was browsing to see whether there are any turbo'd Sunbeams around.
Check it out.

Hey Jan.... it was the Turbo Alpine that inspired me to turbocharge the engine I'm preparing for the custom fastback. I even bought a CA18ET (Nissan Sylvia) turbo engine. Then about a year ago I came across the site you posted and ditched the Nissan engine idea.

I decided it would be cool to keep the car as original as possible. I've been buying up parts from different cars on ebay to cobble a system together. Mostly RS Ford and Rover Tomcat stuff so far. Be interesting to see how much power the transmission can take.

I really need to get my build thread updated.

Building the '2nd series' fastback Rapier ('Arrocuda').

I played around with an electric supercharger when I still had the 36DCD weber on. It did add a few horses, only operates at full throttle with a switch on the throttle. Not worth it though .Some guys who race put two of them in series . The one David showed us looks much better quality. Wonder how many horses it adds.

Well if turbocharging etc is your thing maybe this is the easiest and cheapest way to go:-

wow looks very expensive - bloody sweet though. I asked the garage that did my engine up if i could fit a turbo and they said NO, not without causing more problems than its worth, so im impressed that its been pulled off here.

Tempted, but supercharging may be cheaper
