High back seats in my early Alpine give little support to driver and no visability to back seat passengers not recommended.
My later Alpine has low back seats which support a bit better .They too have just back fold down and do not recline .Rapier seats are much better all round .Mounting points are different however .

High-backed, or tomb-stone; were only fitted to early Alpine's. After c. '71 they went for Rapier style seats, as it seems the high-back ones were disliked and did not recline. As for pics - I may have one somewhere in the Fastback photo collection. G
