Posted - 27 Feb 2010 : 18:13:36 I bought my series IV last July and immediately joined the SROC. Her name is Betsy and other than a respray in pippin red and silver she is totally original having covered 56000 miles. She is not concourse but I dont care about winning prizes. I just love to show her off. I did consider buying a moggie but they are a bit common arent they. I live on the Sussex coast and have never seen another one on the road. I love the rakish lines and always get people asking me about her. I am also a member of the Bexhill 100 MC. Unfortunately there is no regional club for Sussex so I have sent a letter to C and T asking if local members are interested in starting one up. I hope to see some of you at meetings and autojumbles. If anyone can give me some history on Betsy BDV 157B I would love to read it. |

Posted - 01 Mar 2010 : 10:37:56 Hello there & welcome to the forum & the SROC . Glad you're enjoying Rapier ownership. Not a car I recognise, other than it's on a Devon plate. Re you're proposed 'noggin & natter'; if you know whereabouts you were thinking of holding it, we can put a note up on the web site. You might be awaiting responses to see where's best, but we can still put something up. All the best. G. |
