Posted - 20 Jan 2014 : 18:44:12 Picked up the Ghia on Sunday and its better than I thought. Really good nick and loads of history. I have a letter from the first owner in California. He bought the car after finishing his first tour of Vietnam, with the wages he accrued. It was Imported from California in 1998 and fully restored, must have had a fairly cosseted life because its still in very good condition now (its only been resprayed once). Its kind of the same colour combination as the rusty orange H120, same colour cream interior. Dont worry, I'm still up for a H120 If a good enough one appears. May even swap !

your new car looks great (even if it isn't a Rapier)..
I saw your comment about the VW clubs.. it is a shame some folk are so blinkered...
perhaps there is a multi-mark club near you.. we find they are good fun, as everyone is car-minded and they enjoy whatever you are driving..

That's very nice, the colour looks much like the H120 I like (see below - never seen one in the flesh). I had big ideas once about building another one this colour, one day maybe??!!
