If Chrysler UK had been successful then a new badge engineered 'Rapier' would have been a likely possibility. Is actually a new retro styled Barracuda that has been proposed. The story is that Chrysler with their new owners Fiat believe that there is a market niche for a smaller retro styled muscle car than the current Dodge Challenger to be built on an Alfa Romeo RWD floor pan.

With retro american body styling reminiscent of the Barracuda the concept is to be marketed to both the US and European markets although there's no mention of a RHD model at the moment. No mention of 'Plymouth' either, with Dodge appearing to be the preferred moniker.

Little bit more expensive than a Rapier with the price expected to be somewhere between $60,000 and $70,000!
