I like the bonnet centre mouldings, would like to know what it was from. It would look good on my Series 5. I would appreciate any information to its origin. Thanks

I wonder why sellers don't let you see the number plate, as on the first car in this thread? Is it to stop you seeing the MOT history? Very strange.

Must admit it raised a smile as it's in Bournemouth, same place as I bought my series V nigh on forty years ago... But, colour me cynical (or just plain miserable), four interior shots but none including the dashboard? One of it's plus points, surely? Look close at the Series V interior and there appears not to be an air distribution lever.. and the air filter housing gets plated!!!
Nice 3/3a local in Braintree too, though I prefer the last ones

Do you have any links to the car in question?

Hi All.... Not sure if it's the 'done thing', but why not pick club brains for any information that might be out there?
So.... Are any members aware of this car? Viewed it perhaps? I will admit it would sit well in the garage with the Norton, but studying the photos throws up a few doubts and then there's the whole question of buying 'obsolete' cars through a dealer....
I say 'obsolete' as in scant spares availability, were it an MGB or TR then most issues could be resolved with the necessary amount of Wonga.. but Sunbeams? Outside of an MOT and service what can they offer or guarantee on a 52 year old car? Okay, back in my youth scrap yards abounded for any dubious parts, but now?
Yes, you might be able to return it for refund if it was a total dog, but who buys to take back?
Would welcome friendly debate, thoughts and comment.....
