Can anyone point me In the right direction to obtain a new battery for my 1973 fastback?

You can use any battery that is the right size (within reason). I've got a lion battery on mine, I'll get you the details.

The battery on my car is a Lion 065. Available from eurocarparts for £36 (using current 1/2 price discount code).

I can't attach pictures from my phone, but will tomorrow when I'm back at work so you can see what it looks like fitted.

But now I need to know if I can get new front brake calipers anywhere or if not does anyone recondition them?

Hi Steve,
Bigg Red of Worcester reconditioned the calipers for the SIV some while ago.
Rebored,new s.s.pistons,seals,bleed nipples etc. very good job and not too expensive.
Good to hear the resto. Is progressing.
