Hi

I'd like to fit a set of alloys to my Alpine Fastback. Any recommendations on size/offset/suppliers? I'm thinking 175/50/13.

Best

Hi,I have alloys on my fastback although not minilites, they are 6x13 with 175/70 tyres, 175/50 will give you the wrong rolling radius and give your speedo an inaccurate reading, hope this helps, regards,Andy.

Patrick,

I believe the Alpine fastback originally ran on 155/13 tyres which gives an overall diameter of 578mm. If you go for 175/70 tyres that gives 575mm so virtually the same.

On my H120 I run 185/70 which is 589mm so still not much different.

As suggested, it will effect your speedo reading very slightly but not worth worrying about.

Thanks Andy and JPS.

It will need to be 175/70/13 then!

Am I correct in thinking these would fit?

They're 4x108

Cheers

Thanks Andy

I think they'd look pretty smart on a Fastback....

I'm sure they will look good and fit fine, with the offset on the jbw wheels the rims should stick out further by about 20mm or so,cheers Andy.

Hi,
I've gone 17" on my H120, pretty much everyone in the club knows my car!
But i don't know how to upload pictures on here.
Tires are Yokohama Parada Spec 2 215/40/R17 87W
wheels are Team Dynamics 100+ but can't remember the model name.

AND BOY DOES IT STICK TO THE ROAD!!!

(thanks in part also to re-worked suspension. you'll find tires this size will require some "fettling" i had to roll the rear arches for clearance (only a couple of mil) and the fronts rubbed on the reaction rod (wheel spacers looked odd, so i limited the steering motion by putting a blob of weld on the stop)(but then i went rack and pinion steering anyway)

More commonly people use minilights in 15" with 195 tires, it's a direct fitment, same as peugeot i think?
Good luck :)

Hi Patrick,
Mine has 14J Minators on with 185/60 R14 tyres.
It does have slim spacers on all round and and both ends are lowered, the front by 2" and can't say I've had any issues with clearance at all.

Dave, what radius would fit the 195s on 15" rims?

You need 195/50/15 to keep the diameter close to original.
