Competed on the Hexham Historic Rally on Saturday night 140 miles around Northumbria and County Durham

The rebuilt engine performed faultlessly
managed to finish 5th after holding 2nd at the halfway halt
had a poorly navigator and had to keep stopping on the competitive sections

Just to say; great performances & super photos. Well done Andy for campaigning a Fastback & showing how competitive it can be. What a pity Chrysler made no effort in respect of the 'Arrow' cars to carry on the tradition of the 'Audax' ones.
Be great to be able to use one of the pics for the cover of Cut & Thrust if that could be arranged; with maybe a little article to highlight your successes?
Cheers! G.

Been a bit busy over the last few months
I have got the engine refitted after having forged internals then had a bespoke full rally exhaust with big bore manifold skidded system and a re-packable back box
Had the limited slip diff rebuilt, lowered the rear suspension 1.5 inches, Then, had it set up on the rollers its now producing 120 bhp at the rear wheels

was running as course car on the St wilfrids classic rally last weekend and was really pleased with how different the car goes

a couple of photos by kind permission Tony North Photography

This is beyond the standard H120 spec', this is more London/Sydney Hunter GLS spec'. Does this not mean that you will now have to compete in a more competitive class?

Impressive figures Andy. I'm assuming that they built it to the standard H120 road spec' engine so as to meet with the rally class rules. An extra 32 horses is quite astonishing and you might be able to squeeze out a couple more yet from the exhaust mods.

Nice one!
