I believe the general consensus was that it was an insurance write off. Could well have been the floods of last year (2019)

Sometimes I think laterally, but then I have to get up!

This one's now gone sadly can't believe there are still cars like this being sent to the crusher. Looked to me like it had been sat outside for many years, the original owner may have passed away and then family have just left it sitting on the driveway whatever happened it's a sad ending for a once show winning car.

Real shame does anyone know the story behind this? did the original owner pass away and the vehicle just left to deteriorate.

Mmmm, we had heard about this one, which had a full resto in the 1980's & was best in class winner at some of our National Rallys at that time. Sad to see it end up this way. You tend to think if a car has been restored that it will always be kept in that sort of condition & not let-go . G
