I am i the process of removing the fuel tank due to fuel delivery problems and needs to be cleaned and sealed. How do I remove the two straps holding the tank in place. I have the front bar removed but the two straps are connected to the tank. They are bolted to the car under the tank and cannot be reached. Are there access points under the vehicle I can access the two bolts from?

Are you talking about a fastback?

If so, there should just be the single bar across the top edge of the tank. You need to remove the fuel pipe from the tank, accessed underneath the car and then the tank should lift up and out.
