Hi Fellow member's Having removed and replaced the nearside seal and bearing i am now having trouble bleeding the rear brake's. Ive got the jar etc connected to the bleed nipple and a friend on the brake pedal, as in the book the nipple is opened the pedal pressed, nipple closed up with the pedal, yet i am only getting a trickle of oil even after half an hour no change.
When i apply the brake's the front wheel stops turning the offside rear just hold's after two pump's so i hold my hand's up what am i doing wrong

Not sure what you mean by a trickle of oil after 1/2 hour?

When you bleed the brakes, firstly you should open the bleed valve and press the pedal several times to ensure any air is pushed through (keeping an eye on the fluid level in the master cylinder).

Once you are sure the air is out then you can follow the process of pedal down, valve shut etc.

I'm not sure if the series cars have the small flexi hose on the rear brakes but if they do it is possible that has collapsed internally which will be restricting the flow.
