What a pity this great site has already attracted junk postings of no relevance to Sunbeams or of interest to genuine members.

Hopefully we've blocked them for now, but further action can be taken if they start getting through again . Cheers chaps! G.

I am a member of the Practical Classic website forum which does not suffer from the problem, maybe their webmaster could assist as we all have a common interest in classic cars.

I suggested on another thread that the signing up security needs to be updated to stop these spambots.

Yup - there quite a lot of junk has appeared. This plagues some forums, though others (e.g. Pantera International) seem to escape it. These might be automated attacks - hopefully the webmaster can block them before they overwhelm the forum.
