Hi, Everyone; Now that Alpine West Midlands have merged into Sunbeam Spares Co, I am at a bit of a loss about where I might find a supplier of body repair panels for my 1963 Rapier 111A.

Does anyone perhaps know where Alpine used to source their repair panels, or know of any other supplier who might help me?

Specifically, I need repair panels for the rear lower part of the nsf wing and for the rear wing lower front section on both sides.

Many thanks for any pointers you can give me.

John

Although Expressed steel do some panels for the Rapier, unfortunately they don’t make the parts I am after, so the hunt goes on. Any other suggestions gratefully received!

If anyone else is in need of panels, here is a link to the parts which Expressed steel do offer - https://www.steelpanels.co.uk/category/sunbeam-2/rapier-1955-1967/

Many thanks for any suggestions,

John

No problem, not sure what's available but good luck with it.

Thank you, Andy, I’ll follow that up - I had come across their name in connection with other makes but didn’t realise they did some parts for Rapiers.

I’ll post the outcome when I hear from them.

Hi, there is a company called Expressed Steel panels that make some repair sections for your series Rapier and also have a bespoke service.
I hope this is of some help.
Andy.
